Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando Resort runs on select nights from February through April and is included with your admission for the day. The event is comprised of four distinct segments: photo opportunities with the parade performers, a festival with music and food, a parade and a nighttime headliner concert.
What Performers Can I Meet?
The parade performers pose for photographs in two separate sets. The first set appears from 4:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m., while the second set meets from 5:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. The performers line the streets near Shrek, up past Twister, and around past Mummy. The characters are on stilts, so they’re easy to spot in the crowd. Because there are so many groups of performers, lines are usually limited to a few people.
- Spending time meeting the performers makes the parade more fun when you see your favorites
- Visiting Mardi Gras on multiple days is an easy way to get different groupings of performers together
- Some performers appear in different locations each day, so look around to find them all.
